WoW Forever Pricing: Subscription, Bundles, and Refunds

The 30-second answer: your subscription is the ticket

World of Warcraft: Forever does not ask you to buy base access separately.

Access is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or active game time, so if you plan to play a race that already exists, you have what you need.

The three bundles are optional upgrades. They unlock the Skyborne race and the Zephras Isle starting experience, plus Early Name Reservation, cosmetic items, Beta access, 30 days of game time and Warcraft III.

Buy one only if something on that list is worth money to you. A physical Collector's Edition is also sold through the Blizzard Gear Store; it is covered further down.

Every figure below was checked on 2026-09-23 on the store that serves each region. Prices are set per region rather than converted, so the U.S., European and Korean numbers appear side by side here with no exchange-rate math.

What base access costs, region by region

On the U.S. store a subscription is $14.99 per month for one month, $13.99 per month for three months, and $12.99 per month for the six-month and twelve-month special offers. The twelve-month special offer totals $155.88.

The European store, which serves Germany, lists €12.99 per month for one month, €11.99 per month for three months, and €10.99 per month for the six- and twelve-month special offers, with €131.88 for twelve months.

That store states that its euro amounts include VAT where applicable, which the U.S. and Korean listings do not. The Korean store lists ₩19,800, ₩15,840 and ₩14,667 per month for the same tiers, and ₩176,000 for twelve months.

The per-month figure is the term price divided by its length, not an amount charged to you every month.

Each plan is billed once per term, every 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, so the three-month plan is charged every three months rather than monthly, and the six- and twelve-month offers are charged once for the whole term.

Blizzard states that a subscription renews automatically once your latest billing cycle ends or your current game time expires, so note the renewal date if you only want one term.

The three bundles and what each one adds

The bundles are one-time purchases that sit next to the subscription; they are not a total you have to add up. U.S. prices are $29.99 for the Skyborne Heroic Pack, $59.99 for the Skyborne Epic Pack and $79.99 for the Warcraft Forever Collection.

The German store lists €29.99, €59.99 and €79.99, and the Korean store ₩37,500, ₩75,000 and ₩100,000.

The Heroic Pack is the entry point.

It unlocks the Skyborne race and the Zephras Isle starting experience, and it includes Early Name Reservation, a mount, appearances and a toy for use in both modern WoW and Forever, Skyborne housing decor for Housing in modern WoW, and one Invite-A-Friend launch code.

Housing decor is therefore already in the cheapest bundle, not something the Collection introduces.

The Epic Pack includes everything in the Heroic Pack and adds Beta access, 30 days of game time credited at launch, further cosmetic items, a pet for your Forever collection, and three launch codes in total.

The Warcraft Forever Collection includes everything in the Epic Pack and adds Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign, and Forsaken and human miniature housing decor; the store lists it as a limited time offer.

Which tier fits, and where the Collector's Edition sits

Playing an existing race: a subscription or game time is enough, and no bundle is required to log in. Time-limited items are the exception, because the Beta period, Early Name Reservation and the limited time Collection each run to their own deadline, so read the store's current terms again at the moment you actually pay.

Starting as a Skyborne, playing the Zephras Isle questline, or using Early Name Reservation: the Heroic Pack is the lowest tier that unlocks those, and nothing below it does.

Testing before launch: Beta access starts at the Epic Pack, and the U.S. store lists the Forever Beta as available through October 21, 2026.

The Korean store gives October 22, 2026 instead, so go by the date shown in the store you buy from. Step up to the Collection only if you also want Warcraft III: Reforged and the Forsaken Kingdom campaign.

The Collector's Edition is the physical alternative. Its box holds a Warcraft Forever Collection digital code, which unlocks the Skyborne Epic Pack, Warcraft III: Reforged and Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom.

The physical items are a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins and a companion journal.

Blizzard says the code brings the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle start, Beta access, 30 days of game time and the in-game cosmetics, so the digital side matches the $79.99 Collection.

Blizzard's U.S. Gear Store lists the box at $150.00 and ships only to select locations in North and South America. It allows one box, one Beta access code and three Invite-A-Friend launch codes per household.

The European Gear Store lists the English version at €150.00. Against the Collection, the physical items add $70.01 (our calculation; Blizzard does not price them separately).

Both listings say all sales are final, the box is not eligible for returns, and promo codes do not apply.

Conditions to check before you pay

The 30 days of game time in the Epic Pack and the Collection are not credited when you buy.

Blizzard states that they are added to your WoW account with the launch of WoW: Forever, and playing beyond those 30 days requires a subscription or additional game time, sold separately.

An Invite-A-Friend launch code is not Beta access. It gives an eligible person you invite a limited window of access around launch, and it changes nothing about your own Beta participation.

In-game items included with the bundles are not available in WoW Classic.

Housing decor can only be used in Housing in modern WoW, and the U.S. store footnote adds that the Housing feature itself requires World of Warcraft: Midnight, sold separately.

Prices and sale terms here reflect the stores as of 2026-09-23 and can change.

If you are weighing the Collector's Edition, check timing and region too.

On September 24, 2026, Blizzard updated its announcement: more English copies are going on sale in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Timing varies by retailer, and in Australia and New Zealand the box is sold through retailers such as JB Hi-Fi and EB Games Australia.

Restock orders are expected to ship and arrive in February 2027, after the launch on November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST, and when we checked on 2026-09-27 both Gear Store listings were marked sold out.

The terms on Blizzard's U.S. Gear Store say the digital code is valid in North America, Latin America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Because the code travels in the box, Blizzard suggests buying the Collection or another Forever product on Battle.net now if you want the content sooner.

Some of those purchases qualify for a Battle.net Balance credit equal to the amount paid when you redeem the Collector's Edition code by December 31, 2027.

Some credits are automatic, others need Customer Support, and not every product or upgrade path qualifies.

Refunds, and one last check

Blizzard's support article How to Request a Refund states that all real money purchases are considered final, but that in certain situations you may be able to request a refund for an order.

The route it gives is: log in to the account you purchased the item on, go to the Battle.net Support site, then select Payments, then Refunds, then Continue.

The system reviews your recent orders and assesses whether any are eligible.

For the subscription itself, Blizzard's article on a missed cancellation says WoW subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but that you can use the refund review feature to see whether an exception is possible.

Let that review answer the question for your own order rather than a rule you read for another country, because refund handling differs by region.

To recap: subscription or game time if an existing race suits you; the Heroic Pack for Skyborne and Early Name Reservation; the Epic Pack if Beta access and the 30 days matter; the Collection only for Warcraft III.

Confirm the final amount and the refund terms on the checkout page itself, since Battle.net prices here reflect the stores on 2026-09-23 and Gear Store details 2026-09-27.

Pick the Collector's Edition only for the physical items, and only if a delivery after launch is fine.
