The short answer
The Riverglades is a new zone in World of Warcraft: Forever.
It sits in the Eastern Kingdoms and covers much of the mid-30s to mid-40s.
Blizzard's articles give two quest counts: more than 150 new quests and nearly 200 quests.
The sea route starts with the Steamwheedle Cartel in Tanaris and leads to Powderfuse Port.
The zone's dungeon, Krol'dok Stronghold, is for levels 40–45.

From the Blizzard pages listed in the sources at the end of this guide.
This is a reference built only from Blizzard's articles, game page, video and forum post, checked on November 5, 2026.
We have not tested anything here in game.
So you will not find a quest route or reward list yet; we will add those once they are verified.
Where the Riverglades is
Blizzard's Forever page calls it a sprawling landscape in the Eastern Kingdoms, shifting from lush hillsides to ruined keeps.
The launch article describes a rugged frontier of rivers, grasslands, trade routes, struggling communities and old grudges.

Blizzard's dungeon overview also lists Krol'dok Stronghold, located in the Riverglades, among the Eastern Kingdoms dungeons.
The September 13 recap says the land is connected to surrounding regions like the Burning Steppes, Redridge Mountains, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands.
It adds that this part of the Classic world used to be out of players' reach.
The same recap puts the zone at roughly the size of Stranglethorn Vale.
The pages we checked do not include a labeled border map, so we describe the location the way Blizzard does.
Level range: mid-30s to mid-40s
Blizzard's launch article speaks of quests across much of the mid-30s to mid-40s experience.
The same wording appeared in the What's Next recap on September 12, 2026.
Blizzard gives no exact lowest or highest level for the zone.
The only exact band tied to the zone is its dungeon, Krol'dok Stronghold, at levels 40–45.
That is the dungeon's range, so we would not read it as the zone's range.
Blizzard also says Forever has no level scaling, so a zone does not adjust itself to your level.
Our leveling guide shows how the zone sits next to the other official level bands.
Quest count: more than 150 or nearly 200?
Blizzard's own articles give two figures.
The What's Next recap of September 12, 2026 says more than 150 new quests.
The Found Photos recap of September 13, 2026 says nearly 200 quests for Horde and Alliance players.
The launch article of November 4, 2026 is the newest and repeats more than 150 new quests.
Those dates are in UTC.
| Blizzard article | Date (UTC) | Figure |
|---|---|---|
| What's Next recap | September 12, 2026 | More than 150 new quests |
| Found Photos recap | September 13, 2026 | Nearly 200 quests |
| Launch article | November 4, 2026 | More than 150 new quests |
Blizzard has not explained the gap, and the German and Korean pages show the same two figures.
The two are not strictly at odds, since nearly 200 would also be more than 150 (our reading).
One says new quests and the other just quests, so they may not count the same things.
We have not counted the quests in game, so we report both and pick neither.
How to get there: the Steamwheedle route from Tanaris
The September 13 recap describes a final new ship route that begins with the Steamwheedle Cartel in Tanaris.
That route points players beyond known shores toward the Riverglades.
The zone's port is Powderfuse Port, which ties directly into the new Steamwheedle route.
The official sea route
- TanarisTravel to Tanaris in Kalimdor.
- Steamwheedle CartelThe route begins with the Cartel.
- Powderfuse PortArrive at the Riverglades' port.
Tanaris is in Kalimdor, so this is a crossing between the two continents.
To reach Kalimdor, the same recap says Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine opens an early path between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
It adds that Menethil, Southshore and Auberdine form another route.
Blizzard's video says that where paths may have ended in areas like Redridge Mountains, new journeys await in zones like the Riverglades.
That hints at a way in by land (our reading), but the video gives no road or directions, so we do not list one as confirmed.
Factions and enemies
The September 13 recap names gnoll camps, fresh ogre threats, the new Powderfuse goblins, the Twilight's Hammer and the Brotherhood of the Horse.
Blizzard's video Your Leveling Journey Past 30 from October 19, 2026 adds most of the story below, checked against its English and German captions.
| Group | What Blizzard says | Who meets them |
|---|---|---|
| Brotherhood of the Horse | Remnants of Stormwind's elite knights, based at Farholde Keep | Alliance players |
| Bolder'ok clan | Ogres who left the Twilight's Hammer | Horde players |
| Twilight's Hammer | Holds Twilight's Shroud and Krol'dok Stronghold | Both sides |
| Powderfuse goblins | New group; no further detail yet | Not statedthe zone's port carries the Powderfuse name |
| Gnoll camps | Continue the conflicts of neighboring lands | Not stated |
| Ogre outrunners | Kidnap travelers and raid communities | Not stated |
From the Found Photos recap, the dungeon overview and the official video.
Alliance players meet the Brotherhood of the Horse, a faction going back to Warcraft II.
They are remnants of Stormwind's most elite knights, who fought at the battle for Blackrock Mountain.
They disobeyed orders to keep hunting the Horde and broke with Stormwind and the Alliance.
In the 20 years since, they have made a home at Farholde Keep.
The video then says that, like Stranglethorn Vale, the Riverglades isn't just for the Alliance.
Horde players meet characters such as the Bolder'ok ogre clan, spelled that way in Blizzard's captions.
The Bolder'ok are former members of the Twilight's Hammer who broke away and compete with the humans of Farholde for resources.
Both sides clash with the Twilight's Hammer, whose true motives Blizzard's video calls unknown.
Blizzard's dungeon overview adds ogre outrunners who kidnap travelers and raid communities, without saying which clan they belong to.
The Powderfuse goblins and the gnoll camps get no further detail in the pages we checked.
Places Blizzard has named
Krol'dok Stronghold is a five-player dungeon for levels 40–45.
| Place | Type | Blizzard's description |
|---|---|---|
| Powderfuse Port | Port | On the new Steamwheedle route |
| Farholde Keep | Keep | Home of the Brotherhood of the Horse |
| Krol'dok Stronghold | Dungeon, levels 40–45 | Fortress held by the Twilight's Hammer |
| Twilight's Shroud | Stronghold | Old Horde stronghold seized by the Twilight's Hammer |
| Bloodmasters' Ring | Fighting ring | Fights against ogre brawlers |
The port is from the Found Photos recap and the dungeon from the dungeon overview; the rest is from the official video's captions.
Community manager Kaivax confirmed that range on September 15, 2026, after it was listed wrongly in various places.
Blizzard describes a sprawling fortress of workshops, encampments and guarded interior passages.
Its overview also mentions strange chanting from the stronghold after nightfall.
The video says the Twilight's Hammer occupies the fortress.
It also names Twilight's Shroud, the westernmost stronghold of the old Horde, now seized by the Twilight's Hammer.
The video places the Bloodmasters' Ring deeper in ogre territory, a fighting ring where you prove your strength against the ogres' best brawlers.
Blizzard's video also gives two quest examples: wrecking a pirate operation and rescuing a horse.
It does not name those quests, their givers or their rewards.
What is not announced, and what comes next
We checked Blizzard's pages again on November 5, 2026, the day after the launch article went up.
They do not give a quest order, quest hubs or rewards for the Riverglades.
They also say nothing about faction reputation with the groups above.
We have left all of that out rather than guess.
Leveling routes through the zone will be added here once they can be verified.
Until then, the new zones guide and the leveling guide cover the wider picture.
